R & D Marine Ltd is a world leading manufacturer of marine flexible couplings, damper drive plates, anti-vibration engine mounting, split and solid half couplings, flange adaptors and rope cutters.

Many of our products are designed to reduce noise and isolate vibration while, importantly, also all being failsafe. Founded in 1973 when offering just a small range of marine products, today our range has grown to over 70 different flexible couplings to suit a wide variety of marine gearbox output flanges.

We manufacture a similar sized range of anti-vibration mountings to suit engines weighing from 20kg up to 3000kg and a genuinely huge variety of damper drive plates, which are often assembled and dispatched within just a few days of receipt of the customer’s order.

As all of R & D Marine’s products were designed in-house and are manufactured in-house we are able to offer an exceptionally prompt and efficient service and excellent customer support. Additionally, our in house toolroom allows us to easily modify many of the products we offer to suit installation constraints, such as unusual flywheels, flanges, registers and bolt fixings.
