SeaShield comprise a range of systems developed to protect marine structures where corrosion is a problem in splash zones, inter-tidal and subsea environments. SeaShield systems have over 40 years of proven history for the cost-effective, long-term protection of steel, wood and concrete jetty piles, irrespective of cylindrical, hexagonal or square section structure designs. Systems can also be offered for cross bracings, pipework and other exposed parts of marine structures.

SeaShield systems offer multiple grades of protection. The popular SeaShield 2000 FD™ system is a multi-layered, heavy duty system, comprising a petrolatum inner layer and an outer HDPE jacket, that effectively encapsulates jetty piles, offshore riser pipes and exposed piping. An inspection port can be incorporated as an optional extra.

For steel structures and sheet piling, SeaShield Rigspray™ is a medium duty brush or airless spray-applied coating that can achieve excellent corrosion resistance with only one coat.
