Offshore Workboats Ltd (OWL) is a Scottish based and long established supplier of Multicats, Workboats, Safety boats and barges throughout the UK
Based on the River Clyde at Clydebank near Glasgow we are strategically placed to comfortably serve the NW UK and Northern Ireland although customers requirements have seen us working throughout the UK.
With origins in the 1970s OWL has been involved in countless marine projects, construction and civil engineering contracts within a broad scope of industry sectors and have carried through the decades a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the most complex problems the marine environment can present with.
Workboats
All workboats are certified and operated in accordance with the MCA workboat code of practice or other relevant authority where applicable.
Safety Boats
We can provide a variety of options from our fleet of 5 safety boats which are all road transportable or supplied with road trailer. For fast rescue options we have our 5.5m RIB with 90hp Outboard or indeed a Pioner Multi with 70hp Jet drive. For general site safety / assistance we have several extremely robust 6m Pioner Multi workboats with options on outboard motor sizes between 25hp and 70hp
Multicats
With unrivalled Dutch pedigree and proven design our Damen 1406 Multicat is the model that set the standards for all multicat/multi role vessel designs since its inception.
Marine Salvage and Dredging
With our with our extensive plant list we can provide marine assistance and wreck removal services for owners, insurers, Local and Port Authorities. Whilst OWL provides surface vessels and support we work with a network of specialist dive contractors to provide the safest and most cost effective options for wreck removal
Barges
OWL has a long history of providing project cargo services to many companies locally and throughout the world. We can provide a simple barge hire option more suited to construction / marine civils or a more in depth package for project cargo works. We can manage all aspects of your load out, transshipping and discharge operations. We have carried out project cargo works from locally in the Clyde area to much further afield.
