The UK’s leading provider of jack up barges, Red7Marine, is pleased to announce that it will be attending the Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 of September. The event held at the Excel Exhibition Centre in London is the UK’s largest exhibition for the marine and coastal civil engineering industry. The company will have a stand again this year where visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of the team.
Red7Marine’s extensive fleet and team of highly trained operatives ensures the company can safely operate in the most challenging and dynamic environments around the coast. Safety is at the very core of the company which can be demonstrated by a proven track record in the industry. The marine plant hire division currently has a record number of barges chartered out to satisfy the increased demand from clients. The Red7Marine team have also been busy supplying specialist marine consultancy services, delivering turnkey marine construction projects and supporting O&M works across the renewables and energy sectors.
As Red7Marine continues to expand, so does its fleet with the launch of its latest jack up barge. The Eurojack 3923 has been specifically designed for use in heavy civil engineering projects and for O&M works within the renewables sector. It is equipped with sectional legs that can be extended up to 66m long ensuring it can work in a wide variety of locations around the UK. With a variable deck load of up to 800t and flexible deck layout options, it is ideally suited for a wide range of projects and for cranes up to 400t.
Red7Marine has strengthened its engineering and consultancy services to satisfy the recent growth in demand. Gavin Forsyth joined in the role of Project Supervisor in June with 18 years of experience in the Marine Civil Engineering industry behind him and Red7Marine has recently employed an additional Project Manager, Junior Estimator and a CRM Administrator.
The new recruitment department has enabled Red7Marine to begin to fill skill gaps within the marine construction industry. Partnering with youth employment service MyGo, Red7Marine has helped clients find skilled team members alongside taking on their very own new recruits – helping to expand all areas of the business.
Nick Offord, Managing Director of Red7Marine commented “The Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo is always a great chance to meet fellow marine construction specialists and clients. We are therefore delighted to welcome visitors to the stand again this year and showcase our expanding fleet. We recently enjoyed a site tour along the River Thames in central London and we are looking forward to connecting again with valued clients.”
