Energy Solutions Shortlisted for 2025 DAME Design Awards at METSTRADE
Energy Solutions, a leading UK developer of intelligent marine and hybrid power systems, has been shortlisted for the 2025 DAME Design Awards at METSTRADE, the world’s largest trade exhibition for marine equipment. The nomination recognises the company’s innovation in DC power management through its SmartSwitch DC4 module.
The SmartSwitch DC4 is a compact, VE.Bus-enabled four-channel DC load controller that delivers a smarter, simpler way to manage onboard power. Designed for 12V or 24V installations, the module provides independent switching and dimming for up to four circuits – from lighting and fans to refrigeration and pumps – all easily controlled via a Victron GX device, touchscreen, or Victron VRM platform.
With built-in thermal and current-limiting protection, virtual fuses, and real-time status feedback, the SmartSwitch DC4 replaces bulky relays and complex wiring with a clean, software-driven approach to DC control. It’s fully compatible with Victron VE.Can, J1939, and NMEA 2000 marine communication standards, ensuring seamless integration across modern vessel and vehicle systems.

The DAME Design Awards, organised by METSTRADE and ICOMIA, celebrate outstanding design, innovation, and functionality in marine technology. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, followed by a showcase of nominated products in Hall 13 at RAI Amsterdam.
