Poseidon Jackup JV: First C7 Platform Christened
Thursday, 16th April 2026
The first C7 platform of Poseidon Jackup has been officially christened, marking a significant milestone for the joint venture’s operations in North America.
The christening represents the transition from concept and preparation to operational reality and highlights the collaboration between Combifloat and its U.S.-based partners.
Building on the official launch of Poseidon Jackup, the event underscores a shared ambition to introduce proven, modular jack-up technology to the United States and Canada. The initiative is aimed at delivering stable, purpose-built solutions tailored to the demands of complex marine construction environments.
The first C7 jack-up also reflects growing confidence among clients and stakeholders in the joint venture’s capabilities. With U.S.-based manufacturing, Jones Act–compliant execution, and Combifloat’s established engineering expertise forming the foundation of the venture, Poseidon Jackup is positioned to support infrastructure, energy, and marine projects across the region.
The company aims to set high standards for safety, reliability, and operational performance as it expands its presence in the North American market.
