LGH Expands European Presence with New Base in France

Wednesday, 12th November 2025

New Dreux Facility Strengthens Support for France’s Infrastructure, Energy, and Construction Sectors

LGH, Europe’s leading specialist in lifting and moving equipment rental, has officially opened its first dedicated location in France. The new Dreux facility, located on the outskirts of Paris, marks a major milestone in LGH’s European growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality lifting solutions across the continent.

The new site features a fully equipped warehouse stocked with an extensive range of rental lifting equipment, including hoists up to 100 tonnes, gantries, hydraulic jacking systems, rigging gear such as slings and modular spreader beams, and material handling solutions for a wide range of industrial and construction applications.

Operations in Dreux are led by Koffi Ahawo, an experienced LGH foreman, supported by Lorenzo du Burck, Account Manager for France. Together with LGH’s multilingual rental desk and internal account management team, they will deliver the high service standards and technical expertise that have built LGH’s reputation for safety, reliability, and customer focus.

The launch of LGH France ensures faster access to lifting and moving equipment for contractors and industrial clients across key French sectors including infrastructure, ports, energy, and construction. LGH is also a proud member of the Union Française du Levage (UFL), representing companies across the French lifting industry.

“LGH’s expansion into France is a natural progression in our international growth journey, following our success in North America and, most recently, Australia,” said Andy Mault, CEO of LGH Europe. “France presents strong opportunities in infrastructure, ports, and renewable energy – especially solar and wind power – where dependable equipment and service excellence are essential. With its mature lifting market and strong safety culture, France aligns perfectly with our values and operational standards.”

He added: “Having supported French projects from our Antwerp base for several years, this local presence allows us to deliver faster response times, broader equipment availability, and dedicated local service.”

LGH will continue collaborating with leading French manufacturers and distributors to maintain a diverse, best-in-class equipment fleet, including trusted partners such as Tractel, Kito Crosby, JD Neuhaus, and Modulift. The new Dreux base is expected to serve as a launchpad for further European expansion in the years ahead.
