A new international partnership brings sustainable moorings closer
Blue Parameters is proud to announce a partnership with Seaflex and English Braids to develop fully sustainable mooring systems. This collaboration between the three companies has been driven by a shared commitment to improving the marine environment and addressing Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) challenges. The project, which is set to be completed at the end of the month, will set a new standard for design and results in this field.
Simon de la Rue, Director of Blue Parameters, commented, “Working with the teams at Seaflex and English Braids has been an exhibition of enthusiasm and collaboration. The marine environment is a challenging space to operate in. And with increased use both recreational and commercial the impact on the seabed and biodiversity has been significantly higher. Bringing together the top partners in their fields will result in a new standard for mooring systems that protect the environment and allow nature to get back on its feet without compromising quality or safety for the marine industry.”
Chris Duffy of English Braid added, “Sustainability has been a core driver for our business over the last 3 years, we have been at the forefront of developing the use of recycled synthetic rope and carbon-reduced products across our ranges.
The project with Seaflex and Blue Parameters is the latest example of how blending existing experiences and technologies from like-minded and progressive companies can spur innovation and development in the sector.
