Inland and Coastal to Showcase Floating Structure Innovation at METSTRADE 2025
Following Managing Director Ollie Shortall’s well-received presentation at ICOMIA 2025 in Venice, Inland and Coastal will bring its latest advances in floating structure engineering to the Metstrade Trade Show 2025, taking place 18–20 November at the RAI Amsterdam.
At this year’s show, the company will spotlight how precast concrete technology is transforming marina and waterfront design. By combining precision manufacturing with adaptable engineering, Inland and Coastal is delivering stronger, more flexible, and more sustainable floating systems suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, and leisure applications.
Innovating with precast technology means we can now build floating platforms of almost unlimited size, with exceptional precision and quality,” says Ollie Shortall, Managing Director. “It allows us to manufacture pontoons to a high Eurocode standard, transport them efficiently, and join them on site to create large, complex structures without compromising performance or durability.”
This approach is already proving its value through notable recent projects such as the Banagher Pool and Jeanie Johnston installations—both demonstrating how Inland and Coastal’s engineering expertise is expanding what’s possible in modern marina and waterfront design.
